If you read my previous post (below), you might still be left with the
question: “How will they create blog entries when they’re cruising in
the middle of the ocean and have only a satellite phone connection to
the Internet?” Well, this post answers that question, and is actually
the first usage of the technique described herein.
The blogging software that we use on our web site (“wordpress”) has an
option by which you can post new entries via an e-mail message. I had a
little time to investigate this feature today, and I was able to get it
working. We each have a special e-mail address that we can send to, and
any messages sent to that e-mail address will be published as blog
entries later that day. So as I write this blog, I’m actually composing
an e-mail. If all goes well (i.e., if you’re reading this), the e-mail
will be posted to my blog sometime later tonight after I’m sleeping.
Pretty cool!

Very exciting journey – I just found your website from Rosenblum TV. I am an avid sailor – racing in PHRF San Diego frequently, and passionate web entrepreneur. I even lived in SF from 96-98. I look forward to following your journey more frequently. Would be interested if you might create an RSS feed and/or Twitter account to stay connected….
Best of luck!
