Thank you to all of you have taken the time to drop us an email or post a comment on our blogs. This whole blogging thing is new to me, and I wasn’t sure how it would all work out. The good news is that I enjoy writing them and there seems to be quite a few people following along. The bad news is I’m not good at keeping them as update to date as I should, and a few of you are grumpy about that.
First, thank you for taking the time to let me know I need to get on the ball. I will make an effort to write at least every few days. Currently my blogs cover a whole range of topics from living on the boat, local sight seeing, reflections on our journey, etc. Please feel
free to ask questions or let me know if there is something in particular you would like to hear about. And for those times I fall behind, please be patient. Days can get away from me out here. 🙂
P.S. I was scrolling through my pictures looking for one to put in this post, and I realize how many stories and places I have not shared with you due to my intermittent blogging, hence the two pictures I posted. I’m fired up not to let others slip away! 🙂
Yea, you guys are back on the blog!
I enjoy reading about your travels. If you can blog great. If not I can understand the distractions.
Thanks Dan and Kent for the encouragement and support. It’s fun to have friends on the journey. Let me know if I can ever answer any questions for you. Your seafaring friend!
What type of fuel does your boat use? Is it gasoline or Diesel? Also how much does a gallon of fuel cost on the open seas?
Thanks!
HI Bernie! Thanks for the questions. Three@ Sea uses diesel fuel. She can go almost 3,000 miles before she needs to be refueled. We recently purchased diesel in Ft. Lauderdale for $1.98.
